Food Allergy Disclaimer:

please be aware that although we are a gluten-free, wheat-free kitchen and do not use Peanut products, pastries may contain or come into contact with other common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, soy, coconut, and other tree nuts.

Ordering Guidelines:

Shelf Life:

We pride ourselves on offering the very best gluten-free pastries you’ve had. And we work very hard to ensure that you are happy with your order!

Our pastries are baked from scratch without any preservatives. Baked goods are best eaten the day of pick up or within 2 days. They should be kept airtight and stored at room temperature, unless they contain meat, an egg-based custard, or fresh fruit.  In this case, please keep refrigerated until warming/serving. If you need to store an item for longer, please freeze in an airtight container. This may alter the texture and flavor of our products, but many of our items freeze very well.

If possible, schedule your pick up date or delivery end of day before or the day of your event.

Our bake-at-home options are purchased frozen and should be kept refrigerated or frozen until baking/warming, following the instructions.

Storing and Serving Cakes:

Please store cakes in the refrigerator until the day of your event. Before serving, allow the cake/buttercream to soften at room temperature for several hours. Not doing so will result in dense cake and hard frosting. Leftovers may be kept in an airtight container at room temperature (unless they contain fresh fruit or egg-based custard), otherwise refrigerate or freeze any leftovers.

Pick Up & Transportation:

When picking up, please prepare a level, slide-proof surface on the floorboard of your vehicle, away from direct sunlight.  Keep your car cool!  Do not carry cakes on your lap or place on a seat, neither of which are completely flat.  Please drive carefully and avoid abrupt stops!

Set Up & Serving:

Keep your cake/cupcake display away from windows in direct sun and if you are setting up/serving outdoors, keep in complete shade. (The melting point of buttercream is 82 degrees and vegan butter melting point is closer to 78 degrees. If the outdoor temperature is higher than this, you will not be able to set the cake/cupcakes out for more than an hour prior to serving.) Once you set out your cake/cupcakes, it’s best to leave it in place. Moving a cake around after it’s at room temperature could cause it to slide or lean.

*Please ask for our guide showing the proper way to cut cake to ensure you get the correct number of servings!

Delivery for Cakes:

All cakes are refrigerated before delivery to withstand temperature change, bumps in transportation and set up.  Cakes with 3 or more tiers must be delivered by us and cannot be moved after set up.  A cake contract must be signed for any cake with 2 or more tiers (provided during the ordering process). When planning the delivery timeline, we take this into consideration and avoid setting the cake out more than 6 hours prior to your cake serving time. If you need an earlier delivery for a cake, please make sure there is plenty of clean, tall refrigerator space at the venue.  Moving a cake after it has come to room temperature may result in leaning layers due to the soft fillings and European-style buttercreams we use.  We will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to your order after you leave our bakery or after we set up at your delivery location.

Order Confirmation & Refunds:

Your order is not confirmed until it is paid in full.

(Aside from $300+ cake contracts, which may have payment installments).

We will do our best to match colors and design, based on inspiration you provide and/or the agreed upon description we provide.  Please know that our cake artists all work a bit differently, so some variation may occur and we never make the exact same cake or cupcakes twice.

If you are not happy with your order, we will refund you with a credit toward a future purchase or a refund, at our discretion.  Due to the cost and labor involved in custom baking, we cannot offer refunds on cancelled orders. If we have a cancellation notice of 2 weeks or more, we will credit your purchase for a later date.

Due to the time and effort involved in the design process, we suggest booking as far in advance as possible and with no less than 2 weeks’ notice for custom cakes/cupcakes.  Flavors and sizes may be limited for last minute orders.  We will do our best to accommodate as many orders as we can.

Last Minute Changes:

For last-minute orders, please call about our ready-made cakes, which we can usually add custom touches to. Major flavor, design or date changes may be subject to an additional charge, at our discretion.  When we hold your spot with a deposit, we will turn down other orders until we reach our max capacity.

Cake Contracts:

For cake orders of $300+, we require a 50% deposit which is non-refundable to secure your order.  The remaining amount is due 60 days before the event date, where applicable.

We are not responsible for any damage that occurs to your order after you leave our bakery or after we set up at your delivery location.

If you rent a cake stand from us, it must be returned within 5 days of your event, clean and without damage.

Please refer to your invoice for all order details, as this is where we will confirm all design, flavor and ingredient/allergen details for your order.  If your cake has 2 or more tiers or is over $200, you will be given a separate cake contract to sign as part of confirming your order.

Thank you for understanding and please reach out with any questions or concerns!
